Srinagar: The Jammu & Kashmir Forest Department has attached Range Officer Javeed Ahmad Natkhan (Grade I) of the Tangmarg/Gulmarg Range to the office of the Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Special Division Tangmarg following allegations of misconduct and misbehavior with the MLA of the area.
The action was initiated under instructions from the Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment, and Tribal Affairs.
A summary inquiry into the incident has been ordered, with the Conservator of Forests tasked to submit a report within two days
