Srinagar: J&K BJP President Ravinder Raina on Monday visited the residence of Gagangeer-attack victim Dr Shahnawaz in central Kashmir’s Budgam district and shared his sympathies with the slain’s family members.
Raina condemned the Gagangeer attack and extolled Dr Shahnawaz, who fell victim to militants’ bullets along with other six labourers, for his enviable traits.
“I have come here (Budgam) to express my sympathies with the family members of Dr Shahnawaz. The whole incident was tragic and regretful. Dr Shahnawaz worked for humanity while rendering his service, irrespective of in Budgam or anywhere else,” Raina said.
He prayed for the eternal peace of Dr Shahnawaz’s soul and for the other six labourers who lost their lives in the attack.
While expressing condolences, Raina also ensured all support to the victim’s family members. (CNS)
