Kulgam: Kulgam Police attached the property of Imran Ahmad Ganie, a known drug peddler, in the Nussu Badragund area of Qazigund.
Ganie is currently lodged at Central Jail Kot Balwal in Jammu under the Prevention of Illicit Traffic in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.
The attached property, a double-storied residential house, belonged to Ganie and was identified as illegally acquired during the police investigation.
This isn’t the first time Kulgam Police has taken such action. Previously, they attached the properties of several drug peddlers in the district.
The police have reaffirmed their commitment to fighting the drug menace, ensuring the community that stringent measures will be taken against those involved in drug trafficking.
