Srinagar: In view of the proposed shutdown of the power canal by JKPDC, an Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti-PHE of Rural Water Supply Division Ganderbal/Sgr has said that the water supply in parts of central Kashmir’s Srinagar and Ganderbal districts will remain likely affected on 26th, 27th and 28th of October 2024.
the Executive Engineer, Jal Shakti (PHE) Rural Water Supply Division Ganderbal/Sgr in a public notice said, “[It is to] hereby inform the general public that due to proposed shutdown of Power Canal by JKPDC on 26th & 27th October 2024, the water supply is likely to remain affected on 26th, 27th & 28th October 2024 in the following areas of the District Ganderbal & District Srinagar and accordingly the consumers are advised to store water in advance & make judicious use of stored water.”
The likely areas to be affected are: Ganderbal Town, Nagbal, Rangil, Dariend, Malshaibagh, Khalamulla, Nunner, Gullibagh, Baba Wayil, Wayil, Nadirbagh, Bobsipora, Budurkund, Bandibagh, Arch, Search, Suderbagh, Chowdribagh, Malpora, Hard Muradabagh, Gundrehman, Harran, Gundmumin, Hakimgund, Hatborah, Kustooripora. Sehpora, Shalbugh-A, Tulbagh, Chundina Deh Naowabaf, Gogjigund, Malikpora, Kokgund, Korag, Gadoora, Kujjar, Rakhi Harran, Benehama & Manigam, Tulmulla, Dangerpora, Wahidpora, Theeru & Dagpora AncharShuhama, Wanihama, Hadoora, Batpora, Syedpora, Meerak Shah Abad Colony, Zakura, Rakhi Zakura, Gulab-bagh, Takenwari, Palpora, Goripora, Kreshbal & all other adjoining areas.
