Srinagar: The body of a missing 22-year-old youth was recovered from a nalla at Pahloo Brein area of Srinagar outskirts late Tuesday night.
The deceased has been identified as Roman Nazir, a resident of Danpora Brein, Nishat. The deceased had been missing since September 28, 2024, prompting his family to file a missing person report at Nishat Police Station on October 1, 2024.
Locals found the body late at night and immediately called the police. The body was then shifted to a hospital in Srinagar for further investigation and legal formalities.
The police have initiated an inquiry to determine the cause of Roman’s death.
