Srinagar: As the countdown began for the third and final phase of the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly elections, political parties made their last efforts to secure votes before campaigning officially ended for the third and final phase on Sunday evening.
The election was divided into three phases, with the first phase held on September 18 and the second on September 25. On October 1, 40 constituencies will head to the polls in the decisive third phase, with 24 of these falling under the Jammu division. The results, set to be declared on October 8, will reveal the future political direction of Jammu and Kashmir.
