Athrot unveils ‘Hak Chi Chi Bond of Celebration’

New Delhi: The Athrot Cultural Foundation, led by Kanwal Peshin, Saturday dedicated their latest project, “Hak Chi Chi Bond of Celebration,” to the community through a special event with Union Minister for Food Processing Industries, Chirag Paswan.
The song, written and conceived by noted Kashmiri poet, writer, and actor Kanwal Peshin, celebrates the cultural richness of Kashmiri Pandit traditions during weddings and family functions. It showcases the community’s age-old customs in a well-structured and chronological manner to help future generations understand and preserve these traditions.
Featuring music arranged by Rajesh Khar and vocals by Pallavi Koul and Shivani Jyotshi, the song’s video is enhanced by the acting of renowned actors Pummy Zutshi and Dazy Bazaz, and choreographed scenes beautifully capture the essence of the stanzas. Directed by Pradeep Pandita, with cinematography and editing by Makhan Singh, the presentation is described as both unique and historical.
During the event, Athrot’s team, including Abhimanyu Peshin, Vansh Pandita, and RK Pandita, presented the minister with a Kashmiri Pandit cultural symbol, Kenzi Khoas, and the book “Rup Dedh,” as tokens of appreciation.
Minister Chirag Paswan praised the Athrot team for their efforts and wished them success in their future endeavors. “Hak Chi Chi Bond of Celebration” is now available on the Athrot YouTube Channel and The Modern Kashmiri Pandits Facebook page.
