National pride shines through bike, car rally

Srinagar:  In a vibrant display of national unity and pride, Project BEACON organized a bike and car rally through North Kashmir’s key passes—Zozila, Razdhan, and Sadhna—as part of the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign for the 77th Independence Day.

The event, held from August 13 to August 15, featured a dynamic procession of vehicles adorned with the Indian tricolor, reflecting the nation’s commitment to security, sovereignty, and awareness.

The rally began at Zozila Pass, a strategically important and challenging terrain that connects the Kashmir Valley with Ladakh, highlighting its historical significance in India’s defense landscape.

It then proceeded to Razdhan Pass, known for its breathtaking views and the Border Roads Organisation’s remarkable work in maintaining infrastructure in rugged terrains.

The journey concluded at Sadhna Pass, vital for regional connectivity and security, celebrating the ongoing efforts of the BRO in sustaining these crucial routes.

Attended by Border Roads Organisation officials and enthusiastic participants, the event celebrated India’s rich history and the enduring spirit of its people, fostering a sense of national pride and unity.
