DLSA Budgam celebrates 78th Independence Day

BUDGAM: In a magnificent display of patriotism and unity, the 78th Independence Day was celebrated with great fervor at the District Court Complex in Budgam. The event was marked by the hoisting of the National Flag by the Principal District & Sessions Judge, and Chairman, DLSA, Budgam, Mr.Khalil Ahmad Choudhary, who also took the salute of the guards.
The 78th Independence Day celebration at the District Court Complex, Budgam, was a beautiful embodiment of our shared commitment to justice, freedom, and unity. As the National Flag soared high, it symbolized the aspirations and dreams of our great nation.
The celebration was graced by the distinguished presence of Additional District & Sessions Judge, Budgam, Mr. Aijaz Ahmad Khan, Chief Judicial Magistrate, Budgam, Dr. Noor Mohammad Mir, Special Mobile Magistrate, Budgam, Mr. Sheikh Gowher, Civil Judge Jr. Division, Ms. Farrah Bashir, Officers from the Prosecution Department, members of the legal fraternity, including lawyers from the Bar, Officers and ministerial court staff, and officers, staff members of the DLSA, Budgam and para legal volunteers (PLVs).
Principal District & sessions Judge,Mr.Khalil Ahmad Choudhary in his special address, highlighted the significance of 15th August said that the day marks the end of british colonial rule and the establishment of India as a sovereign nation .It also honors the sacrifices and contributions of national heroes,freedom fighters and revolutionaries.He further said that the celeberation of the day promotes national unity,integrity and solidarity amongst Indians.He further described that August 15th 2024 will be a momentous for all Indians world wide to celeberate their nations Independence, diversity.
A Heartwarming gesture of gratitude at the event was when Mr.Khalil Ahmad Choudhary distribution of sweets among the guards, acknowledging bond between the protectors of our land and its citizens.
A similar kind of unfurling National Flag ceremony also took place at the Tehsil levels of District Budgam where in chairpersons of TLSC’S hoisted National flag and also took the salute of the guards.
