Srinagar: The Srinagar International Airport is all set to get advanced automated parking system as the Airports Authority of India is implementing the initiative across the country.
In a statement issued here, Srinagar Airport Director Javed Anjum said that the Airport Authority of India (AAI) is coming up with an advanced automated parking system, specially designed to enhance parking experience of passengers and visitors, while minimising human interference.
He said that the main feature of this parking system is that it is inherently designed with reasonable and logical tariffs calculated on the basis of dwell time which will make it fair and transparent.
“The system will have time stamping at four designated points within the airport and parking to enhance accountability and ensure accuracy,” the statement reads.
