Srinagar: PDP state secretary and constituency incharge Habba Kadal Arif Laigaroo along with Sameer ul Jameel, Fayaz Rah Sheikh Nauman Aqib Farooq taking part in the ongoing Muharram procession held at Islamyarbal Shamswari Fatehkadal.
On the occasion Laigaroo said that the mourning processions are held to mark the martyrdom of Imam Husain AS who sacrificed his whole family for supreme cause and dignity of Islam.
He said that people from all walks of life find it as an opportunity to share their mark or respect and homage to Imam Hussain and it is quite heartwarming to see that everyone come forward and volunteer himself to serve Muharram Mourners by serving refreshment etc.
Laigaroo thanked all including party workers for their participation.
