Vitasta Law College students conduct legal literacy program in Dara

Srinagar: The Vitasta School of Law and Humanities on Thursday conducted a comprehensive legal literacy program in the Dara are of Srinagar.
This initiative, spearheaded by the B.A.LL.B 9th semester batch of 2019, aimed to empower local residents by providing essential information about relevant laws and government schemes.

The program featured door-to-door interactions, ensuring personalized engagement with community members. Students from the Vitasta School of Law and Humanities diligently shared vital information about legal rights and schemes that could benefit the residents. Additionally, they distributed contact numbers of authorities capable of resolving legal issues, alongside cell numbers of local Common Service Centers (CSCs), enabling the community to apply for the relevant schemes effectively.

The success of today’s event can be attributed to the dedicated efforts of the teachers in charge: Mr. Saqib Ayoub, Mr. Aijaz Khaliq Wani, and Mrs Samreen Mehraj. Their leadership and commitment played a crucial role in the seamless execution of the program.

This initiative underscores Vitasta School of Law and Humanities’ commitment to fostering legal awareness and community empowerment. By bridging the gap between legal knowledge and local communities, the program aspires to create a more informed and proactive society.
