Srinagar: JIM and WS team members under the leadership of Colonel Hem Chandra Singh, the Principal of JIM and WS successfully summited following four peaks in the Ladhak Region, an Army spokesman said in a statement.
The peaks summated are: Kang Yatsell( 6250mt) dated 21 Jun 2024, Kang Yatse l (6415mt) on 28 Jun 2024, Dzojongoll(6220mt)dated 01Jul 2024, DzoJongo l ( 6307mt) 01 Jul 2024.
The team successfully submitted four peaks about 6000m in our record time of 11 days.In addition, the team becomes the first team to carry out snowboarding from Mt Kangyatse-2, the statement said, adding, the team also become the first team to successfully summit above mentioned four peaks consecutively in our record time of 11 days.
