JKNUF to field candidates in every Kashmir constituency: Rakesh Handoo

Faridabad: The Jammu and Kashmir National United Front (JKNUF), a body of Kashmiri Pandits held a significant core committee meeting in Faridabad on Sunday, a statement said.
It said that during the meeting, Rakesh Handoo, President of JKNUF  and other core committee members resolved to take proactive steps in the political arena of J&K.
The committee announced its intention to field candidates in every constituency in Kashmir for the upcoming elections. This strategic move aims to ensure that the voices and concerns of the Kashmiri Pandit community are represented and addressed at the legislative level, the statement added.
However, the party emphasized the importance of community involvement in this crucial decision. Before finalizing their candidates, JKNUF will seek suggestions and feedback from the Kashmiri Pandit community. This approach underscores the party’s commitment to a democratic process and to ensuring that their agenda aligns with the needs and aspirations of their community members.

“We believe in a collective approach where the voices of our community members are paramount. We urge everyone to come forward with their suggestions and help us in setting a robust and inclusive agenda that addresses the long-standing issues faced by the Kashmiri Pandits,” said, Handoo.

“JKNUF remains steadfast in its commitment to advocating for the rights and recognition of the Kashmiri Pandit community. The party looks forward to a collaborative effort in making meaningful strides toward justice and reparation,” he added.
