PDP committed to focus on old city: Arif Laigaroo

Srinagar:  Peoples Democratic Party state secretary and constituency incharge Habakdal Arif Laigaroo on Wednesday held a workers meeting at Hasnabad in Khanyar constituency while intensifying election campaign for ensuing parliamentary elections.

He said that Hasnabad has great significance in the region’s political landscape and party’s main focus would remain mainly to strengthen its position and work to address specific concerns of Srinagar.

He said that Shaher e Khas in particular and Srinagar as a capital city holds substantial importance in J&K’s politics with rich cultural heritage, cuisine, and handicrafts.  The party will advocate for policies to preserve and promote Kashmiri culture, ensuring that it thrives amidst modernization and globalization.

Laigaroo was accompanied by zone president Waseem Mir Dr Sajad Khalid Mir  Umar Dar, Fayaz Reshi, Er Tariq  and others.
