Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party state secretary and constituency Incharge Habakdal Arif Laigaroo while intensifying election campaign for ensuing parliamentary elections in Fatehkadal today said that Srinagar has a great significance in the region’s political landscape.
He said that party’s main focus would remain mainly to strengthen its position and work to address specific concerns of Srinagar.
He said that Shaher e Khas in particular and Srinagar as a capital city holds substantial importance in J&K’s politics with rich cultural heritage, cuisine, and handicrafts. “The party will forcefully advocate for policies to preserve and promote Kashmiri culture, ensuring that it thrives amidst modernization and globalization”, Laigaroo said.
He was accompanied by Sameer ul Jameel, Fayaz Rah Shiekh, Nauman Aqib Ahmed, Fayaz Reshi and others.
