Equine care training course begins

Srinagar, Mar 14: In a bid to enhance the skills and knowledge of interns enrolled in the Faculty of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (FVSc & AH) at SKUAST (Kashmir), a comprehensive training course on the Care, Management, and Treatment of Equines started on Thursday.

The 15-day program is underway at the 54 Advance Field Veterinary Hospital.

The inauguration of the course was officiated by Brigadier Bhanu Khanna, Deputy General Officer Commanding (Dy GOC), alongside esteemed guests including Dr. MT Banday, Dean of FVSc & AH (Kashmir), and Colonel Vikas Thakur and Colonel RVS from Chinar Corps.

During the inaugural ceremony, a technical manual tailored for the course was unveiled, providing interns with essential resources to navigate through the training effectively.

Moreover, the interns were provided insights into the promising career pathways available upon the completion of their degree program.
