Jammu, Mar 07: The Swachand Bhairav document and Shiv Bhajans were released on Thursday, on the eve of Harratri Heyrat, by Er. Kiran Wattal, Convenor of Vishwa Kashmiri Samaj, and President of Amarnath Ji Yatra Welfare Society at Adhi Shiv Stupa, Jammu.
The Swachand Bhairav document, designed and directed by Kanwal Peshin, with a detailed article written by Sunil Raina Rajanaka, has been published by Athrot Cultural Foundation.
It is dedicated to Bhairav Vyag related to Heyrat and Harratri, observed by Kashmiri Pandits worldwide on Phalgun Krishna Paksh Tritiyodashi. Two Shiv Bhajans, sung by Kashir Kalakaars Sharad Pandita Khah and Shivani Koul, written by Pt. Prem Nath Shad and Pamposh Saproo, both noted poets and writers, were also released by the dignitaries.
The music was composed by Rajesh Khar, and the visual presentation was made by Bhoopinder Bhatt and Abhimanyu Peshin, with some visuals provided by Sunil Raina Rajanaka from the Kashmir Valley, enhancing its informativeness.
Speaking on the occasion, Kiran Wattal appreciated the efforts of Athrot Cultural Foundation for such initiatives to boost the morale of young children in the community.
He also praised Kanwal Peshin for enlightening the general masses through the Swachand Bhairav document, describing the importance of Harratri-Heyrat and Watukh Mandap display to educate the younger generation and create awareness to preserve culture and heritage connecting to Sanatan.
Prof. Ashok Aima, Ex-VC CUJ, also appreciated the organizers for reviving culture and educating the younger generation. Kamal Ganjoo presented a vote of thanks, and the event was conducted by Abhimanyu Peshin. Dr. Rohit Koul, Director and CEO of People’s Hut Foundation, and Sunil Raina Rajanaka, learned scholars, also attended the event.
