Srinagar, Mar 03: Putting an end to speculations about the extension of winter vacations in the Kashmir Valley, an official stated on Sunday evening that all schools will resume classwork from March 4.
An official from the Education Department clarified that there is no extension of any kind regarding the vacations, which were scheduled to end on March 3, 2023.
“All schools across the Kashmir Valley will formally resume classwork from tomorrow,” the official said. They added that if there had been any changes, it would have been communicated publicly.
“We extend a warm welcome to all students as they prepare to resume their classes,” the official said, while urging parents to ensure their wards attend school.
It’s worth mentioning that rumors circulated across Kashmir regarding the extension of winter vacations after a private school instructed its students to return to class on March 9, 2024.
