Srinagar, February 18: The Director Health Services, Kashmir Dr.Mushtaq Ahmad RatharSunday conducted surprise inspections of Sub-District Hospitals (SDH) in Soibugh and Beerwah to evaluate the functionality and quality of healthcare services being delivered to the public.
The impromptu visits aimed to provide the Director with firsthand insight into the operational efficiency and patient care standards of these vital healthcare facilities.
Accompanied by a team of healthcare professionals, the Director meticulously assessed various aspects of the hospitals’ operations, including infrastructure, medical equipment, staff availability, and patient care protocols.
During the inspections, the Director emphasized the importance of ensuring that the hospitals are equipped to provide the best possible healthcare services to the local communities.
This directive was conveyed unequivocally to the local health authorities, following categorical instructions from Dr. Syed Abid Rashid Shah, Secretary of Health &Medical Education Department.
Recognizing the critical role of these healthcare institutions in safeguarding public health, the Director reaffirmed the department’s commitment to upholding high standards of care and service delivery across Kashmir.
