Srinagar, Feb 12: Under the ongoing outreach programme aimed at fostering national integration, the Indian Army has initiated a youth exchange program to Delhi.
Organized by HQ 31 Sub Area under the Chinar Corps, the tour includes 35 students and 2 faculty members from Kashmir, scheduled to stay till 17th February.
These tours serve as educational and motivational endeavors for the youth of Jammu and Kashmir, offering insights into the country’s rich heritage and ongoing developmental initiatives.
The program aims to expose participants to various career options and provide opportunities to interact with distinguished personalities.
The tour was inaugurated by the Station Commander, BB Cantt. Throughout the journey, participants will explore cultural and historical sites in Delhi, engage with students from Delhi University, and meet senior officers of the Indian Army.
This initiative underscores the Indian Army’s commitment to promoting national unity and contributing to nation-building efforts.
