Srinagar: As a part of Civic Action Programme (CAP) of J&K Police, a week-long Bharat Darshan Tour of 65 students along with 03 police officials as caretakers of district Anantnag was flagged-off today by DIG SKR AnantnagAltaf Ahmad Khan
A ceremony was organized at District Police Lines Anantnag for this purpose, attended by DIG SKR along with SP Ops AnantnagFurqanQadi, SP HQRS AnantnagSajad Ahmad, and IC DySP DAR AnantnagAsif Mustafa, who flagged off the touring students.
Other officers and officials of J&K Police were also present at the occasion. During interactions with the touring students, DIG SKR advised them to make the most of the opportunity to enrich their knowledge by visiting historical places and marvels of the country.
He encouraged them to embrace the greatness of the country and its unity in diversity. The tour, organized by J&K Police, includes all boarding and lodging facilities, as well as air tickets and logistical support for the touring students.
During the tour, the students will visit many historical places in New Delhi and Hyderabad. Parents and touring students expressed their appreciation for the efforts made by J&K Police for initiating such a program and thanked them for providing an opportunity to visit the popular cities of the country.
