Baramulla, January 26: Journalist, Arshad Farooq Friday bagged an award for the best journalist during the function of Republic Day celebration held at Baramulla.
The award was provided to the journalist for his commendable social service and impartial and regress efforts for reaching to the common public of the district and highlighting their grievances.
The award ceremony was held at the conclusion of the Republic day function, during which Chairperson Safina baigh was the Chief Guest, DIG North Kashmir, SSP Ashok Amod , and all district and Sectoral officers were present during the function.
The function which was held at District Police Lines saw a huge gathering of general public.
