Srinagar, Nov 19: A youth, who was riding a bike, was killed in a road accident in South Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Sunday evening.
Reports said that a youth identified as Shahid Yousuf Batoo, son of Mohammad Yousuf Batoo of Nowgam Shangus, was critically injured in a road accident in Trahpora Achabal when he was hit by a private vehicle bearing registration number JK01AL/2800.
He was immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the matter. (Agencies)
