Srinagar: The All Indian Congress Committee (AICC) has taken a significant step towards bolstering its leadership with the nomination of Mir Ruvais as the General Secretary of JKPCC. This announcement was made by AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal
Mir Ruvais, upon receiving the nomination, expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the party high command for bestowing this important responsibility upon him. He also extended his thanks to the party high command and recognized their pivotal roles in the party’s growth and development.

Mir Ruvais also took a moment to express his profound appreciation for the central leadership of the Congress party. He thanked the Honorable Congress President Madam Sonia Gandhi, Rahul Gandhi, Priyanka Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Venugopal, JKPCC President Vikar Rasool Wani and his supporters.
Speaking about his new role, Mir Ruvais stated, “I am deeply honored to be entrusted with the responsibility of General Secretary of JKPCC. I pledge to work tirelessly for the welfare of people and serve as a dedicated soldier of the party. My focus will be on strengthening the party at the grassroots level, ensuring that our ideals and vision reach every corner of the JKUT.”
