Srinagar: The Teachers Day was on Tuesday celebrated at IASE Srinagar.
A grandeur programme was organised by Students Council led by Arsalan Habib President Students Council for the teachers for the dedicated service they provide to the students and to the pupil-teachers
A colorful cultural programme was also presented by the pupil-teachers and students of the college.
Dr Seema Naaz Principal of the College was the chief guest. After paying tributes to Dr Radhakrishnan, the students and pupil-teachers gave a mesmerizing performance and expressed their gratitude for their teachers in the form of self composed poems, songs and speeches.
The College Principal Dr Seema Naaz delivered her message thanking all professors, pupil-teachers and students for making the College a real place of learning through their great service. An inspirational song was sang by Muddasir Kuboo highlighting the reason of the presence of each and every teacher in the life of a student.
A motivational video was also compiled by Syed Aslam on ‘Specific motive of teachers’. Dr Seema Naaz also emphasised the importance of role of a teacher as facilitating, directing, assessing, planning, designing, evaluating, connectingand caring to be carried out by every teacher.
President Arslan Habib and Ex president Saba of the students’ council were felicitated by the Principal by presenting the official mementos.
