Srinagar: The aspirants for National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) SS 2023 here have appealed the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) to set up a center for prestigious exam in Srinagar.
The demands were raised as the center has been set up in Jammu only.
Aspirants from Kashmir division expressed displeasure over the setting up of only one center in the Union Territory, which they say will cause severe inconvenience to them.
“The aspirants from Kashmir will face the severe inconvenience while travelling to Jammu for exams. Besides, it will consume their precious time as well,” said Dr Rubeena bhat.
They appealed the Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to intervene personally into the matter and ensure that an additional center for NEET SS 2023 is set up so that the candidates appearing in the exam are not subjected to any trouble.
