Lecture on Disaster Management held at PTTI Vijaypur

Vijaypur: Police Technical Training Institute (PTTI) Vijaypur organized lecture on Disaster Management for staff and trainees of ongoing Disaster Management Course onWednesday.

Janak Raj Thapa, Retd. ADG, Geological Survey of India delivered an impressive lecture and briefed the staff and trainees about various natural calamities such as earthquakes, floods, droughts, cyclones, landslides etc.

He said that disasters cannot be totally prevented but early warning systems, careful planning and preparedness helps in minimizing the loss of life and property.

Shiv Kumar, SSP Principal PTTI Vijaypur expressed his gratitude to the Guest Speaker for sparing his valuable time to aware staff and trainees of the Institute.

While speaking on the occasion, Dushyant Sharma, Vice Principal PTTI Vijaypur said that the motive of organizing such lectures is to improve preparedness and response at all levels during Natural calamities and other untoward incidents.

He further told that the experiences shared by the Guest Speaker would definitely help the Police personnel to execute their best while performing duties on ground.

Among others, Kuldeep Raj, Dy.SP (Indoor/Tech.), Inspr. Bhopinder Singh, Inspr. Ram Lal, Inspr. Ashish Dharmat, Inspr. Pawan Kumar, Inspr. Anil Kumar, SI Shehbaz Ahmed, SI Over Singh, ASI Shiban Lal, Narinder Kumar were present on the occasion.
