Srinagar: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and constituency Incharge Habba Kadal Arif Laigaroo on Sunday held meetings at Karfali Mohalla & Mir Mohalla Chattabal of Habba Kadal zone and deliberated upon several issues.
During the meeting, various issues to strengthen the party and upcoming Municipal Elections were discussed and prevailing circumstances were centre of the meeting.
Laigaroo asked the workers to make preparations for PDP foundation day, which will be held on July 31st at Sheri Kashmir Park, here.
Laigroo urged Lieutenant Governor led administration to reconsider its move of installing smart electricity meters and provide relief to people.
The leader asked the people to strengthen the party and launch a campaign against social evils that included drug abuse in society.
Laigaroo urged them to keep tabs on youth in their respective areas and work for the betterment of the society.
He expressed anguish over prevailing circumstances in Kashmir and prayed for return of long lasting peace.
On directions of party president PDP President, Mehbooba Mufti, Laigaroo later visited the house Manzoor Ahmad Zoogi.
The house of Manzoor Ahmad collapsed two days ago at Dalal Mohalla near Pathar Masjid. Laigaroo has demanded immediate relief for the victim.
