Jammu: The 270 km Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, a crucial lifeline connecting the two major cities, has witnessed significant improvements in recent years, providing smoother and more efficient transportation for commuters and goods.
The completion of the 1.08 km long, 2-Lane Ramban Viaduct on the Udhampur-Ramban section of NH-44 stands as a testament to the ongoing efforts to enhance infrastructure and alleviate traffic congestion along this vital route.
According to the officials the construction of the Ramban Viaduct, which cost approximately Rs 140 Crore, marks a major milestone in the highway’s development.
