Srinagar: Employees Joint Action Committee Jammu Kashmir (EJAC) President, Fayaz Ahmad Shabnam Sunday extended his deep condolences on the sad demise of well-known trade union leader, Sampat Prakash.
He paid rich tributes to Sampath Prakash and termed his death a big loss.
Shabnam described him as a noble, pious and kind hearted soul, who committed his entire life in the service of people.
He said that Sampath along with the prominent Trade Union leader, late Abdul Majeed Khan were the foremost trade union leaders, who played a pivotal role in starting the trade union movement in Jammu and Kashmir and who devoted their whole life for the betterment of people of Jammu and Kashmir especially the employees.
Shabnam said that his departure has left a void, which cannot be easily filled and also expressed his solidarity with the bereaved family.
He prayed to Almighty to bestow peace to the departed soul and also conveyed his sympathies with the bereaved family.
