The phenomenon of day and night is caused by the rotation of the earth. The day starts at midnight, meaning from 12 a.m. to 11:59 p.m. A day has 24 hours. One more interesting thing is that the earth is revolving around the sun and completes one revolution within the time period of 365 days and 6 hours, so after every four years we observe a leap year of 366 days. Revolution causes seasons like spring from 21 to 21 June, summer from 22 to 21 September, autumn from 22 September to 21 December, and 22 December to 20 March, which is winter. Nature has bestowed us with unlimited blessings. We experience different seasons: rain, snow, scorching heat, harsh winters, and all that feels pleasant.
Kashmir lies in the extreme north, which is why most of the time we feel cold here. That is the beauty of our Kashmir valley. During the summer, the famous tourist destinations witness a huge rush of tourists, both locals and foreigners. The dense forests of the Peer Panjal range enhanced the beauty and kept the tourist destinations cool and calm even during the scorching heat of mid-summer (June–August).
