Srinagar: D T National Board for Workers Education and Development (DTNBWED) under Ministry of Labour and Employment Government of India organized a one-day short term training programme for unorganised sector workers at Ichgam Budgam.
The programme was organised, conducted and supervised by Dr Pankaj Kumar Rastogi Regional Director DTNBWED Jammu.
In this program 100 unorganised workers were enrolled and were made aware about various schemes of Government of India and UT of J&K.
The subjects which were discussed during the programme were Pradhan mantry Shram Yogi Mann Dhan Yojna, E-Sharam, Building and other workers welfare Board, Digital Literacy, Health and Hygiene, Social evils Etc.
In this program, various dignitaries shared their opinions on various topics.

Rahi Riyaz Ahmed Chairman Ahsan Foundation J&K thanked all the dignitaries and participants. Rahi and Shabir Ahmad facilitated and coordinate the event.
Meanwhile, short term training program organized for unorganised sector workers at Kawpora Bandipora on 22 of June 2023. The programme was organised, conducted and supervised by Dr Pankaj Kumar Rastogi Regional Director DTNBWED Jammu.
In this program 100 unorganised workers were enrolled and were made aware about various schemes of Government of India and UT J&K. On this occasion, Rahi Riyaz Ahmed, a prominent social activist of J&K and Chairman of Ahsan Foundation expressed his views and said that it is time for our youth to arrange employment for themselves by taking advantage of various schemes of the government. Along with this, our youth should stay away from drugs and keep themselves busy in sports.
On the occasion, Gulzar Ahmad former Education Officer DTNBWED said that there are hundreds of schemes for the workers in different government department so people should come forward and take benefits of such programs. He said there are many departments for women were they can register and start their units of different for livelihood.
Ashiq Hussain Supervisor Women’s Development Corporation Bandipora and Mohammad Rafiq Sofi Field Supervisor Rural Development Department, Ashiq Hussain CD volunteer and Gulam Mohi-ud-din a social worker of Bandipora district also spoke on the occasion.
