Kupwara: Following two deaths at a private clinic in Kupwara district in the recent past, the District Magistrate has asked the police to register an FIR for alleged medical negligence.
“It is to intimate that in the recent past two deaths of two individuals namely Mudasir Rashid Sofi Son of Abdul Rashid Sofi, resident of Potushai, lolab, and Tahira Begum wife of Qaiser Ahmad Wani, resident of Tikipora Lolab allegedly occurred due to negligence of doctors at ESS BEE Clinic Kupwara,” read an order.
“In this context, it is requested to lodge an FIR and intimate preliminary enquiry into the aforesaid incidents.”
It said that the inquiry into the same incident ordered last month is underway—(KNO)
