Srinagar: The PG Department of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics organised a workshop in the auditorium of IGGDC & Hospital Jammu on Wednesday on the Research Methodology Part 2 by Prof. Dr.Vishal.R.Tandon from the department of Pharmacology, GMC Jammu.
This workshop was attended by faculty, post graduate scholars & students as a part of CME. The workshop was conceived by Dr Azhar Malik Professor & head of post graduate of conservative dentistry to instill correct approach to devise a research study on well established parameters and necessary benchmarks or steps to be adopted in order to get their work noticed and being able to publish same in reputed scientific journals.
It is in continuation to previous workshop held last year on topic ‘Research Methodology’ Part 1. The speaker enlightened the dental fraternity with his knowledge and experience.
The other faculty of Department comprising Dr Ajay Kumar Gupta associates professor (Dept. Academic incharge), Dr. Rrachna Dhani Asstt. Professor (Scientific Incharge), Dr. Shameem Anjum Asstt. Professor (Incharge Camp & Hospitality), Dr. Rudra Kaul (Incharge CDE), Dr. Ravinder Kumar Lecturer, Dr. Sachin Chadgal Lecturer, Dr Ashish Chaudhary and Dr Sukhbir Kaur (Registrar), Dr Kanchan Bhagat & Dr Sangeeta Bhagat (Dental Surgeon) contributed efficiently their part in the success of this program.
The workshop was organised under overall supervision and guidance of Professor Dr Rakesh Krishan Gupta, Principal and Dean, IGGDC Jammu, who remain ever ready in such capacity building, faculty development programme.
These programmes ultimately for the community service to benefit the society.
