Jammu: UPSC Civil Services qualifiers from Jammu division called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha, at Raj Bhavan on Wednesday.
The UPSC Civil Services qualifiers including Parsanjeet Kour, Nittin Singh, Namneet Singh, Manil Bejotra, Mohd. Irfan, Dwarka Gaadhi, Abhinandan Singh, Nivranshu Hans, Dr. Iram Choudhary, Aadesh Basnotra shared their journey.
The Lt Governor said the Civil Services qualifiers will soon become pillar of the administration and they must rise up to the expectations of the common man. He called upon them to work with commitment to contribute to processes of nation building.
Choudhary Mohd. Yousuf Gorsi, Chairman District Development Council Anantnag called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan.
The DDC Chairman accompanied by DDC members apprised the Lt Governor on the development issues of Blocks Pahalgam, Khoveripora, Dachnipora, Chittergul and Verinag of District Anantnag.
The Lt Governor assured the DDC Chairman of appropriate redressal of the genuine issues projected during the interaction.
Also, a delegation of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India led by CA (Dr) Raj Kumar Adhukia, Central Council member ICAI, called on Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha at Raj Bhawan.
The members of the delegation including CA Vikas Purdhani, Chairman J&K Branch; CA Vineet Kohli, VC, J&K Branch and CA Khateeb Yousaf, Deputy Convenor Kashmir CPE Chapter discussed various issues pertaining to promotion of CA education, accountancy, and research work in the region.
They also put forth the demand of setting up ICAI’s Centre of Excellence. The delegation also apprised the Lt Governor on the upcoming 12th Residential Meet of ICAI Members in Public Service/Civil Services to be held in Srinagar on 18th June, 2023.
