School Edu Deptt orders suspension of the accused

Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police Tuesday arrested a principal of a government school in a molestation case.
Police in a tweet said that the principal of a government school was arrested in a molestation case while a case under FIR number 31/2023 under section 354D, 294 & 506 of IPC registered at Shalteng PS.
In the meantime, the Education department has ordered suspension of the accused principal.
The accused Principal was placed under suspension with immediate effect in pursuance of Rule 31 of Jammu and Kashmir Civil Services (Classification, Control and Appeal) Rules, 1956.
The department said that the officer is attached with Director School Education Kashmir.
“Further, Director School Education Kashmir shall conduct an enquiry into the matter and submit a detailed report along with his recommendations,” it reads. (KNO)
