G-20 Awareness Campaign: YSS takes out first of It’s kind G-20 Flag Rally

  Bikers tour Srinagar areas, attract attention of by-passers

Srinagar: Continuing it’s awareness campaigning about the forth coming G-20 Summit being held at Srinagar, the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K took out a well organised flag rally of dozens of it’s employees who were laden on motorbikes.
The rally was flagged-off by Waseem Raja Joint Director Kashmir of the Department of Youth Services and Sports J&K. He was accompanied by District Youth Services and Sports Officer Srinagar Gh Hassan Lone and other senior officials of the Department.
Speaking about the event JD YSS said that the Department is running a mega campaign about the importance of G-20 meeting. “Since different initiatives are being undertaken by various UT Departments to generate awareness about the G-20, the Department of Youth Services and Sports also organised many activities pertaining to the important event. Besides ensuring participation of youth and children in games and sports, our field officers and officials educate the participants about relevance, importance and benefits of the G-20 event,” JD added.
The rally started from Wazir Bagh Srinagar and returned to the Sports Complex Wazir Bagh Srinagar from Nishat via SKICC, Nehru Park, Dalgate and Zerobridge Srinagar.
