Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police in Baramulla on Thursday claimed to have booked three persons under Public Safety Act (PSA) for anti-national activities after obtaining formal detention orders from the competent authority.
The booked persons identified as Tawseef Ahmad Parray @Gasha son of Ghulam Hassan resident of Andergam Pattan, Ghulam Mohammad Lone @Gulla son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Lachipora Uri & Shahzad Ahmad Malik @Shad Ponz son of Ghulam Ahmad resident of Singhpora Pattan have been detained and subsequently lodged in Central Jail Kot-Balwal jail Jammu, a police spokesman said in a statement.
Pertinent to mention here that many cases are registered against these persons for their involvement in anti-national activities. Despite their involvement in many FIRs, they did not mend their way, police said.
“Consistent actions of Police against the criminals should reassure the community members that police is making all efforts to treat the anti-national elements in accordance to law,” police said.
