Srinagar: Constituency Incharge Habba Kadal, Arif Laigaroo on Monday appealed workers to work for the betterment of the society and also prayed for long-lasting peace in Jammu & Kashmir.
As per a statement issued here, General Secretary of PDP, G.N. Lone Hanjura chaired a meeting of central Kashmir leadership where he stressed over members to reach out to the people across central Kashmir.
He also praised the party leaders for making efforts to strengthen the party and urged workers to organize more programs in the future.
Lone while speaking on the occasion said that PDP will never betray the people and will represent the aspirations of people. He cautioned the people against the conspiracies which he said are being hatched to divide and rule. “There is strength in unity and those who conspire should be given befitting reply,” he said.
Lone asked the people to strengthen the party and organize campaigns against social evils that include drug abuse in the society. He also asked all zonal presidents of central Kashmir to complete memberships by 31 May.
Speaking at the meeting, Arif Laigaroo urged people to keep a tab on youth in their respective area and work for betterment of society.
He expressed anguish over prevailing circumstances in Kashmir and prayed for return of long lasting peace.
