Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir Police have organised farewell functions to accord warm send off to the officers who superannuated from their active services at District Police Lines Awantipora & Budgam.
In Awantipora, Police organized a simple but impressive farewell party at District Police Lines Awantipora for the officers who superannuated from their active services. The officers include SI Mohd Amin, SI Bashir Ahmad, SI Saroop Singh and ASI Popinder Singh, a police spokesman said.
SSP Awantipora Ajaz Ahmed Zargar & DySP DAR appreciated the retiring officers for rendering their utmost services in the department. Moreover, all the officers present on the occasion praised their honesty, sincerity and dedication while giving least priority to their personal interests.
Further, SSP Awantipora complimented the retirees for maintaining an unblemished record and wished them a healthy and meaningful post-retirement life.
Meanwhile, retiree officers expressed gratitude towards the overwhelming response of higher officers. At the end of function, the retiree officers thanked all their colleagues and officers in showing affection and respect towards them.
In Budgam, Police organized a farewell function which was held at Officers Lounge DPL Budgam for the officers/official who superannuated from their active services. The officers include SI Satish Kumar, ASI Mohammad Yousuf and Helper Ghulam Qadir Parray.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Budgam Tahir Gilani appreciated the work and dedication of the retiring officers towards their duties. He extended good wishes and healthy post-retirement life to them. He also presented gifts to retiree officers as a token of love and respect for their exceptional services spanning over more than three decades.
DySP DAR DPL Budgam and other officers of DPL Budgam were also present on the occasion who also acknowledged the contribution of the outgoing officers and conveyed their best wishes for post-retirement life.
