Congress an empty vessel: Altaf Thakur

Srinagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) senior leader and J&K Spokesman, Altaf Thakur on Friday said that Bharat Jodo Yatra is dependent on other parties and that Congress is an empty vessel that always makes a noise.

Thakur in a statement issued here said that he feels pity on senior Congress leader Jai Ram Ramesh’s assertion that they will invite 21 parties in Srinagar to show strength.

“Isn’t it an ample proof that Congress party is on crutches. One fails to understand, if all are with Bharat Jodo Yatra, why Congress needs 21 parties,” he said.

He added that fact remains that Congress is just like an empty vessel that always make a noise. “BJY depends on other parties, hence proved,” Thakur said.
