Jammu: Four persons were killed and nine others sustained injuries in a firing incident at Dangri village of Rajouri district on Sunday evening, officials said.
An official told KNO that a firing incident was reported in Dangri village this evening, creating panic and chaos in the area.
He said in the incident 13 persons were injured and they were rushed to GMC Rajouri for treatment.
He added that three persons were declared brought dead while another civilian succumbed later in the night.
Meanwhile, Medical Superintendent GMC Rajouri, Dr Mehmood said that three persons have died, while ten others are injured in the firing incident in Dangri.
He said the injured with multiple bullet injuries on their bodies are being treated at the hospital.
Later one more injured succumbed to injuries.
Meanwhile, an official said the area is around 7 to 8 kilometers away from main Rajouri town, while police and army have rushed to the spot.
“We are ascertaining further details about the incident,” he added. (KNO)
