Srinagar: A pedestrian was killed after reportedly being hit by a car in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Monday evening.
Reports reaching GNS said that one Bashir Ahmad Khanday son of Khazir Ahmad Khanday was hit by a Maruti Suzuki (Ritz) bearing registration number JK01Q-7136 at Kunzer Manglora. The person was evacuated from the spot to a nearby hospital, where the doctors declared him as brought dead on arrival.
Confirming the death of the individual, a police official told GNS that the driver alleged to be involved in the accident has been detained and his vehicle also seized.
