Srinagar: Continuing its efforts to eradicate the menace of drugs from the society, Police in Sopore arrested a notorious drug peddler and recovered psychotropic substances from his possession.
A police party of Police Station Sopore during patrolling arrested a notorious drug peddler identified as Abdul Qayoom Parray @Seeba son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Hygam Sopore. During search, 12 bottles of Codeine (OTODRIL) and 48 Capsules of Spasmoproxyvon Plus have been recovered from his possession, a police spokesman said, adding that a case vide FIR No. 266/2022 under relevant sections of law has been registered in Police Station Sopore and investigation has been initiated.
