Life School celebrates Foundation Day

CHARARI-SHARIEF: Life School Charari-Sharief celebrated its foundation day at Zaloosa Charari-Sharief Budgam. The function was held at Razia hall in campus and was graced by many guests from all walks of life.
Ishtiyaq Ahmed Baba (KJS), Ahsanul Haq (Deputy Director Labour & Provident fund), Nadeem Qadri (Senior environmental lawyer), Dr Iqbal Qureshi (Deputy Registrar Islamic University), Abdul Hamid Ganaie (Principal Boys Hr. Sec. School Charari-Sharief), Farooq Ahmed Baba (Accountant General Retrd.), Javaid Ahmed Dar (Senior lecturer) and social activist Gulzar Ahmed were present during the day-long colourful function where students displayed many oratorial and performance skills before the august gathering.
The day was marked with the laying of foundation stone for “Sheikh ul Alam Centre for Peace & Spirituality”.
The centre is aimed to give further impetus to the holistic and systematic research on Sheikh ul Aalam studies.
Peer Muhammad Amin Baba from Charari-Sharief town laid the foundation stone at school campus.
“This was always a dream project for us and I am personally touched to see the laying of the foundation stone of this centre” said Advocate Nadeem Qadri while praising the Director Life Foundation for fulfilling his commitments.
Speaking on the occasion, the guests were of all praise for the achievements of the Life School while being enthralled by the all round performances of the students, especially by their skillful recitations of the verses of Sheikh Nooruddin Noorani (RA).
“This school is progressing by leaps and bounds and is performing exceptionally well in district Budgam. See the confidence with which these students performed today. It depicts the hard work being put in by the school management,” a parent explained.
At the end, the student performers were felicitated by the guests while wishing good luck for the future endeavors of the school management. Life School Charari-Sharief under the aegis of Life Foundation was established by Nazrul Islam in the year 2005 under the patronship of famed poet and author Assadullah Afaqi.
