Shabir Ahmad Shah, Prof Rattan Lal Talashi elected as VPs
Srinagar: Gayoor Foundation expanded its outreach by according approval of Professor Rattan Lal Talashi as Vice President of Jammu Chapter. In the General Council meeting held at Tagore hall Srinagar, the forum also constituted Women’s wing.
The meeting started with Tilawat-e Quran recited by Syed G M Andrabi of Kreeri and a welcome note by Chairman Er Syed S.G Andrabi. After passing the resolution Mir Ghulam Rasool (Pampori) Chief Election Commissioner and Prof. Farooq Fayaz as Chief Observer held elections for the posts as per the constitution of foundation.
The form unanimously affirmed Er Syed S G Andrabi as Chairman and Dr Ayyash Arif TV Anchor & Writer as Patron.
Shabir Ahmad Shah, Financial Analyst, Author and sports promoter elected as Vice President, Imdad Saqi for General Secretary Post while as Yasir Baba was elected as Additional General Secretary.
Qasar Nizami was elected as Chief Organizer and Shabir-u-Zaman as Publicity Secretary & Media Advisor. Gh. Hassan Kuchay will continue as Financial Secretary. Sikandar Irshad was elected as Organizer for Maraaz South Kashmir and Dr. Syed Anwar Andrabi for Kamraaz North Kashmir.
On conclusion of the program, rich tributes paid to Late Syed Gh. Rasool Gayoor. The Forum congratulated the new elected Executive Council body and expressed gratitude to all the participants.
