J&K PILTOF holds season’s 1st road show in Thailand

Bangkok: J&K Pilgrim & Leisure Tour Operators Forum (PILTOF), a premier Tourism body of Jammu and Kashmir held season’s first interactive session with top 140 Travel Agents of Thailand and members of Thai Travel Agents Association (TTAA).

J&K PILTOF is having iconic members with more than 40 years’ experience in travel trade.

In his welcome address, Chairman Showkat Pakhtoon while welcoming the guests emphasized the need for marketing India and Kashmir aggressively since all the travel trade fraternity has suffered due to Covid pandemic and “it is our responsibility that PAN India destinations are to be sold in THAI Market aggressively.”

Dharmendra Singh, First Secretary (Economic & Commerce) and Head of Chancery, Embassy of India in Thailand, who was the Chief Guest assured THAI Travel Agents all support from Embassy for facilitation to visit India.

He also said that Indian Embassy in Thailand has eased out online VISA process besides reduced the VISA Fee so that more & more Thai Tourists travel to India & Kashmir.

He also confirmed that Embassy is in touch with some Airlines to Start a Direct flight to Kashmir so that visitor’s getter a cheaper available fare. The Tourists can travel to Kashmir first and then return back from last destination to Thailand.

The Indian Embassy official present Bhaskar Kalra also gave presentation on Incredible India.

The TTAA was represented by its Vice Presidents Shivek Sachdev & Sittichai Odomkitthanakul, Asstt Honors Secretary, NINA, besides other Office Bearers. PILTOF was represented by Chairman.
