Srinagar: Senior Superintendant of Police (SSP), Commandant, JKAP 6th Bn, Suram Singh on Thursday distributed five newly allotted computer sets sanctioned by Police Headquarters J&K amongst the main branches and company offices of JKAP 6th battalion for upgradation and digitalization of day-to-day official work and record being part of new digital India.
On the occasion, it was enjoined upon all coy commanders, section in-charges to ensure proper care, maintenance of the government assets that has been recently allotted to them for the official purpose for maintaining of official records which was the need of hour.
It was emphasised to computerize the records of all the companies and of Headquarters to enhance the pace and quality of official work disposal.
While receiving the government assets, the officers present on the occasion including Mohd Farooq Khan SP, Maqbool Hussain Gorsi, DySP and other police personnel conveyed thanks for the steps taken by the department and in turn also assured the further steps that will be taken for the betterment and upliftment of the official correspondence.
