Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir’s Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha Friday said that AIIMS at Jammu is fully functional while as the one at Awantipore in Pulwama district will be made functional next year.
“Till 2014, there were only three medical colleges in JK ,but with Prime Minister Narendera Modi Ji’s interest, seven new medical colleges were sanctioned in JK. The AIIMS in Jammu is fully functional and the one coming up at Awantipore will be made functional next year,” LG said. (KNO)
